TrueCare Assisted Living holds Grand Opening

Wednesday, April 30, 2014

On Thursday, the community is invited to celebrate the TrueCare Assisted Living Grand Opening.

Visitors will have the chance to meet TrueCare CEO, Garold Maxfield; company President, Mark Maxfield; the resident care staff; and the corporate decorating team. The event will include tours the building, snacks, and musical entertainment from 2-6:30 p.m.

The Shell Knob Chamber will host a red ribbon cutting at 3 p.m.

Scheduled to perform is Trent Oliphant, a veteran of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Dubbed "America's Choir" by Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, Oliphant performed with the Grammy and Emmy award winning group for eight years. Joining him will be his family of musicians and vocalists.

Also slated to perform is Christian Artist Nathan Grace, who has been recording since 2011. Grace's first album, "I Stand All Amazed," was released in March. This is a rare opportunity to hear the Bentonville, Ark., artist perform.

Shell Knob's local talent will be highlighted, as Hope Boston and Maddie Mason will perform for visitors with vocals and guitar dotted with humor. Local Shell Knob talent Tonya Davison may also perform. Other performers may pop in and out, adding to the musical atmosphere.

TrueCare Assisted Living and Memory Care is located at 25832 State Highway YY in Shell Knob.
