Bobbie "Jeannie" Nichols
Bobbie "Jeannie" Nichols, 61, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her Cassville residence.
She was born Sept. 3, 1952, in Plainville, Kan., the daughter of Clarence and Royalynn May (Nelson) Wells. On April 16, 1992, in Grove, Okla., she was united in marriage to Jim Nichols, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Josh Jennings, of McPherson, Kan., and Michael Nall, of Texas; one daughter, Marcia Jennings, of Olathe, Kan.; three brothers, Ray Wells, of Medicine Lodge, Kan., Norman Wells, of Zurich, Kan., and Rusty Wells, of Damar, Kan.; one sister, Corley "Joanne" Johnson, of Bogue, Kan.; five grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Roy Wells; and two sisters, Susan Wells-Adams and Cheryl Lynn Wells.
She grew up in Kansas and graduated from high school in Phillipsburg, Kan. She had resided in Noel, and Pratt, Kan., before moving to Grove, Okla., where she married Jim. Ten years ago, she and Jim moved to Greenfield and spent part of each year at their Cassville residence. Graveside services were held Saturday in Resthaven Memorial Garden, Ponca City, Okla., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
