Ingram found in Taney County after apparent suicide

A Cassville man that has been missing since Jan. 16 was found near Highway 65 in Taney County on Saturday.

Jeffrey Ingram, 31, of Cassville, was found dead of an apparent suicide in his truck, which had run off the road and into the woods next to Wild Bill's Travel Center on Highway 65 in Ridgedale.

According to Mick Epperly, Barry County sheriff, Ingram was found when a group of mushroom hunters walked up on his vehicle.

Epperly said back in January, Ingram stormed out of his Cassville home upset and carrying about $10 and a rifle, did not use any credit or debit cards that may be traced by a bank, and was believed to have destroyed his cell phone.
