Thomas "Tom" F. Holderby

Thomas "Tom" F. Holderby, 92, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Sept. 1, 1921, to Thomas F., Sr., and Ruby (Davis) Holderby in Green River, Wyo.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the 1940s. He retired as a computer operator with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield. He also served as a pastor to churches in Missouri and Texas as an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He attended Spiritual Streams Fellowship Church, Cassville.

On Sept. 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Lou Alice (King) Holderby, who survives. Additional survivors include: two stepsons, Cleatus and Darrel King; two stepdaughters, Rhonda Pearsall and Darala Olle. Also surviving him are two sisters and one brother.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers, two sons and one daughter.

He served as a volunteer minister at Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center and also at Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Spiritual Streams Fellowship Church, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial, with military honors, was at Blue Eye Cemetery.
