CHS Choirs win medals at District Solo and Small Ensemble Competition
The Cassville High School choirs recently attended the District Solo and Small Ensemble Competition, with 15 students receiving 1-ratings and advancing to the State Competition in Columbia during the first week of May.
Soloists advancing to the State Competition include: Audra Shumaker, Mikala Deffenbaugh, Brooke Cornell and Levi Pollreisz.
Ensembles advancing to the State Competition include: Alana Holt, Mariah Willard, Deffenbaugh, Shumaker, Pollreisz, Noah Galey, Bradley Lueckenhoff and Parker Skinner as Men's and Women's Octet; Willard, Shumaker and Deffenbaugh as Women's Trio; and Hope Boston, Cidny Harrison, Maddie Mason, Taylor Forester, Kynsey Branham and Kassie Graves as Women's Sextet.
The choirs also had more than 35 students receiving 2-ratings at the competition. Soloists earning 2-ratings included Kiley Wolf, who earned a pair 2-ratings. Ensembles earning 2-ratings included: Lueckenhoff, Pollreisz, Parker Skinner, Galey, Leigh Cox, Chance Mitchell, Drake Thomas and Allen Lambel as Men's Octet; Isiah Herbert, Jackson Kirk, Cameron Irwin, Kameron Kalbaugh, Tre Stewart, Jeremiah Hilburn and Jakob Bredeson as Men's Ensemble; Holt, Wolf, Ryann Stewart, Jessica Roberts, Skilar Beaulieu and Cornell as Women's Sextet; Lexie Wilson, Summer Danielson, Savannah Willis, Camille Holman, Bailey Hendrix and Jasmine Bickford as Women's Sextet; JayCe Fink, Jena Hilburn, Korissa Latta, Kristen Cox, Brooke Harris and Amanda Jackson as Women's Sextet; and Tiffany Irwin, Allison Williams, Herbert, Brett Stewart, Paige Holliday and Addy Nunley as Men's and Women's Sextet.
