Glenn Evan Banks
Glenn Evan Banks, 75, of Washburn, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, in Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Ark.
He was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Washburn, the son of Denver Green and Ellen (Fletcher) Banks. On April 6, 1974, in Seligman, he was united in marriage to AnnaBelle Nichols, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Bill Banks, of Washburn, and John Banks, of Washburn; two daughters, Patricia Farmer, of Lowell, Ark., and Vera Bise and her husband, James, of Bentonville, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Michelle Paul and her husband, Robert, of Washburn, and Cherie Corn and her husband, Tim, of Seligman; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
He received his education at Fine School on Trent Creek. For several years, he was employed for MoDOT doing highway maintenance, retiring in 1993. He was of the Baptist faith and was a life-long resident of Washburn.
Graveside services were held today (Wednesday) at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jim Erwin conducted the services.
