Deloris Kathleen Hilburn

Deloris Kathleen Hilburn, 82, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, in Eagle Rock. She was born on Oct. 3, 1931, in Quapaw, Okla., daughter of Frank and Velma (Cochran) Wear. She attended elementary school at Jefferson Elementary in Joplin, and later attended Wheaton High School. In 1947, she was united in marriage to George Coffey and to that union three children were born, Bruce, Don and Susan. She moved to Ridgley in 1952 and resided there for more than 30 years before moving to Eagle Rock. On Dec. 23, 1980, she was united in marriage to Clifford Hilburn; he preceded her in death on June 6, 1994. She attended and was a member of the Roaring River Baptist Church, in Eagle Rock.

Survivors include: one son, Don Coffey and his wife, Ronda, of Wheaton; one daughter, Susan Coffey Sorenson and her husband, Donny, of Exeter; one sister, Colleen Morris, of Cassville; one step-daughter, Connie Lansdown, of Joplin; 13 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Coffey, on July 6, 2009, and one brother, Leon Wear.

Funeral services will be held at the White Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Lauderdale officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Cemetery in Butterfield. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Grandma's House in Harrison, Arkansas, and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
