2 Cassville residents hurt in crash

Wreck happened south of Shell Knob

A pair of Cassville residents received minor injuries when the vehicle they were traveling in left the roadway.

According to the Highway Patrol report, Terri Coolidge, 59, was headed south on Highway 39 two miles south of Shell Knob when the 1999 Jeep Cherokee she was driving traveled off one side of the road, struck a tree, then struck a ditch on the opposite side.

Both Coolidge and a passenger, Betty Hilburn, 79, received minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. The report stated that neither was wearing a seat belt.
