CHS students compete at Crowder Business Contest

Cassville High School students competed at the Crowder Business Contest on March 26 in Neosho.

There were over 400 competitors from area schools, which were divided into three divisions according to their enrollment.

Cassville competed in Division II, which includes schools with enrollments of over 500 students.

The students brought home eight individual awards, one team award and one sweepstakes division award.

Individual award winners included: Zach Denton, first place in office procedures; Emily Brewer, first place in beginning accounting; Ashlea Large, first place in general business; Mary Hennigan second place in beginning keyboarding; Kelsey Roney, second place in business communications; Zach Denton, second place in general business; Emily Brewer, second place in office procedures; and Brittani Long, third place in advanced keyboarding.

Jordan Fisher and Andrew Whitham took second place in the management decision making team competition; and Zach Denton, Ashlea Large, Mary Hennigan, Nicole Sutphin and Riley Wilson won the Division II Sweepstakes award.
