Mary "Fay" Ingram

Mary "Fay" Ingram, 75, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014.

She was born Oct. 9, 1938, in New Orleans, La., the daughter of Lundy and Louise (Oubre) Hooker, who preceded her in death.

On July 28, 1961, in Cisco, Texas, she was united in marriage to Monty Ingram, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one daughter, Jill Crawford and her husband, Johnny, of Cassville; one son, Charles Ingram and his wife, Andrea, of Greenville, Texas; two sisters, Lundy Prater and her husband, Charles, of Norman, Okla., and Barbara Clower and her husband, Jerry, of Abilene, Texas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She received her education in Cisco, Texas, graduating from Cisco High School in 1956. She received her bachelor's degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. For several years, she taught school in Alamogordo, N.M. She and Monty moved to Cassville 18 years ago.

She was a member of Cassville First Baptist Church, where services were held Monday under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor James Weaver conducted the services. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery, Cassville.
