Cassville students head to state math competition

Five Cassville Middle School students recently competed in the 29th Annual Missouri Elementary Student Mathematics Contest, and four of those students will head to the State Finals at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg later this year.

Jarrod Wallace, Eli Herrin, Cole Stringer and Nate Boley will compete in the State Finals. At the regional competition, Bridgette Sutter took fifth place in Target, and Stringer took third place in Spring and fifth place overall. Wallace, Herrin and Boley earned first place team, and Stringer was an honorable mention for top student from each school.
