The Exeter R-6 School District recently "Celebrated Reading" with several activities. Students who participated dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss characters, had a Wacky Socks day, a Red/White day, a Hat day and a Pajama day.

Students in grades 3-12 voted for their favorite Dr. Seuss book. The winner was "Green Eggs and Ham" with The "Lorax" and "Horton Hears a Who" finishing up second and third, respectively.

Students in grades five and six read to pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grades during their library times.

Community members also took time to read to classes, as well.
