New champions crowned at 6th Annual Trivia Night

More than 100 people attend Cassville Education Fund event

A new champion was crowned at the 6th Annual Cassville Education Fund's Trivia Night, held Friday evening at the Cassville High School commons.

for the second year in a row, and a pick-up team, Trivial Pursuers, came in third place.

By the end of the evening, $1,475 was raised to benefit the Cassville Education Fund.

Teams representing the Cassville Branch of the Barry Lawrence Regional Library, Cassville R-5 Schools, the Cassville Middle School, Commerce Bank, Freedom Bank, First State Bank and Crowder College also competed in the event.

Emcee Donna Hayes Mallams announced four rounds of trivia questions, covering a wide range of subjects from history and sports to movies and science. Bonus point games were played between rounds. More than 100 people attended the event.

Proceeds from Trivia Night benefit the Cassville Education Fund, a permanent endowment fund for the educational needs of Cassville.
