Johnny Dave Magee, 65, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Fayetteville Veterans Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born on Oct. 28, 1948, son of James Carl and Rosalee (Ragsdale) Magee, in Pendleton, Ore. After graduating from East Newton High School in 1966, he joined the U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. On May 15, 1970, he was united in marriage to Wilma June Antle in Cassville. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was an over the road truck driver.

Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Wilma Magee, of Exeter; one son, James David Magee, of Exeter; one granddaughter; and three sisters, Peggy Swank and Lou Ann Allen, both of Bella Vista, Ark., and Kathy Allen, of Garfield, Ark.

In addition to his parents, James Carl Magee and Rosalee Allen, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Allen, and one sister, Cindy Ortiz.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
