"America the Beautiful passes are a great way to see some of the most amazing places around the U.S.," said Bill Nightingale, Mark Twain National Forest supervisor. "Mark Twain National Forest has seven Congressionally-designated wilderness areas and the Congressionally-designated Eleven Point National Scenic River."
Every year, nearly 300,000 people purchase annual passes, which pays for themselves in as few as five visits to federal lands.
Nearly 100 percent of the proceeds from annual pass sales are funneled back into improving and enhancing federal recreation sites.
