Mary "Joanne" Wright, 83, of Cassville, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, in her home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Bell, Calif., the daughter of James Francis and Marcelline Ruth (Reynolds) Raleigh. On May 23, 1953, she was united in marriage to Gordon Edward Wright, who preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Howard Raleigh and Robert Raleigh; and one sister, Patricia Carlson.

Survivors include: four sons, Michael Wright, of Buena Park, Calif., Gary Wright and his wife, Jeanette, of Phoenix, Ariz., Richard Wright, of Buena Park, Calif., and Andrew Wright and his wife, Debbie, of Yorba Linda, Calif.; four daughters, Janet Rizzuto and her husband, Len, of O'Fallon, Theresa Sittig and her husband, John, of Corona, Calif., Paula Sebourn and her husband, Dave, of Aurora, and Donna Sebourn and her husband, Gary, of Stotts City; 11 grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She received her education in Huntington Park, Calif., where she graduated from high school. For 17 years, she was employed for the Norwalk School District in California. In 1996, she and Gordon moved to Cassville.

She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville, where services were held Friday under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Father John Braun conducted the services.

Burial was at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
