Golden man injured in weekend crash

Driver taken to Arkansas hospital

A Golden man sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday on Highway 86 about a mile east of Eagle Rock.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred when a 1994 GMC Sierra, driven by Barton E. McMaster, 75, of Golden, started sliding on the roadway, ran off the left side of the road and struck a ditch. He was wearing asset belt.

McMaster was taken to Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark., for treatment of injuries.
