Max A. McNabb

Max A. McNabb, 72, of Washburn, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Ark.

He was born Dec. 3, 1941, in Cassville, the son of Aubry and Marie (Weathers) McNabb. On April 6, 1963, he was united in marriage to Joyce L. "Sue" Dye, who survives.

Additional survivors include; one son, Rick McNabb, of Washburn; one daughter, Kelly Wiltgen, of Seligman; two sisters, Linda Dye and her husband, John, of Seligman, and Marilyn Baker and her husband, Gary, of Eagle Rock; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

He received his education at Washburn and graduated from Southwest High School. For 12 years, he was employed for George's. Most of his life he was a logger and he worked for Ash Road District several years. He was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Glenn Erwin and Rev. Jim Erwin conducted the services. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery, Cassville.
