A Hillbilly Christmas Carol on tap in Shell Knob

Area residents have the opportunity to get their red hats on and celebrate a Hillbilly Christmas Carol, presented by Shell Knob in the Spotlight (S.K.I.T.S.).

Performances of this Ozarks version of Dickens' "Christmas Carol" are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Central Community United Methodist Church auditorium, located on Highway YY in Shell Knob.

Also performing will be Gary John Gardner and his Good Bad Dog.

Tickets are available at the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce, Service 1 Credit Union, Treasures Then and Now, and the United Methodist Church at a cost of $5 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 12. Tickets may also be reserved by calling 417-499-4551.

S.K.I.T.S. promotes the performing arts and will present theatrical performances and other live entertainment locally.
