Kati Franklin, 37, of Green Forest, Ark., passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
She was born Feb. 16, 1976, in Excelsior Springs, the daughter of Eddie Franklin and Alice Marie (Etheridge) Franklin Edwards. At the age of 7, Kati moved with her family to Berryville, Ark., where she graduated from high school. For several years, she was employed at Swiss Villa Inn in Eureka Springs, Ark., as a housekeeper.
Survivors include: her mother and stepfather, Alice and Ronald Edwards, of Shell Knob; her father, Eddie Franklin, of Okmulgee, Okla.; one daughter, Jordan Marie Tresler, of Green Forest, Ark.; two sisters, Tammy Taylor, of Shell Knob, and Patricia McClynn, of Green Forest, Ark.; and her grandfather Rev. Billy Etheridge.
Preceding her in death were her grandmother, Dixie Belle Etheridge; and great-grandparents, Alice Rochelle Etheridge and Cecil Clayton Etheridge.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Spoken Word Midway Full Gospel Church, Highway 62 East, Green Forest, Ark. Pastor Fred Miller will conduct the services.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
