Kenneth R. Sack

Kenneth R. Sack, 89, of Shell Knob, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Red Rose Health and Rehab Center, Cassville. He was born on May 21, 1924, son of Ruben and Catherine (Buss) Sack in Savanna, Ill.He served his country in the U.S. Army in the Philippines during WWII. On Oct. 26, 1963, he was united in marriage to Erma Lee Adams in Fairbury, Neb. He worked in merchandise sales with the Paul Brooker Company for most of his life.

Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Erma, of Shell Knob; three sons, Terry Alan Sack and his wife, Linda, of Mobile, Ala.; Edward Charles Badendick and his wife Gina, of Irmo, S.C., and James Robert Badendick and his wife, Becky, of Belton; one daughter, Terry Purdom and her husband Bob, of Cassville; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Kenneth's life was held Sunday at the Lakeside Christian Church with Pastor Chad Bennett officiating.
