Joe W. Curran
Joe W. Curran, 66, of Exeter, passed away in his home on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. He was born on Nov. 6, 1947, son of Elijah and Gladys (Lawson) Curran, in San Bernardino, Calif. On March 23, 1972, he was united in marriage to Olive Gay'le Busler at the home of Paul Yarnall in Cassville. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He worked as a truck driver for Tri-State Transit Company in Joplin for many years, and later worked in the construction business.
Survivors include: his wife, Gay'le Curran, of Exeter; one son, Lance Curran, of St. Joseph; one daughter, Megan Hardwood, of Exeter; six grandchildren; one brother, Bill Curran and his wife, Connie, of Cassville; and two sisters, Loretta Clark, of California, and Marsha Simon, of Wheaton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wendell Curran; and one sister, Rosetta Scott.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the White Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Jamie Smith officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
