SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

EVENT: Senator Blunt's office will host a Listening Post meeting from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce office, located at 25364 Highway 39 in Shell Knob. The meeting provides constituents the opportunity to address concerns and questions with the federal government one-on-one with staffers.

MEETING: Mineral Springs Road District will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the road district barn.

Saturday, Nov. 16

EVENT: The Barry County Genealogical and Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. at Happy House Restaurant in Monett. This is the annual meeting and officers will be elected.

Sunday, Nov. 17

EVENT: New Hope Baptist Church will celebrate its 159th Homecoming at 10 a.m. at the church. The homecoming service will feature a gospel concert with the Revelators and a carry in luncheon at noon. The public is invited.

EVENT: The Eagle Rock Community Association will host its fall dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eagle Rock Community Center. Cost of the meal will be by donations.
