Lukas Wade Walker

Lukas Wade Walker, 34, of Exeter, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on April 4, 1979, in Fredrick, Okla., son of Orren and Cathryn (Newton) Walker. He graduated from Snyder Oklahoma High School in 1998, and then moved to Barry County to make his home. In April of 2006, he was united in marriage to Amanda Powell. He was an employee of George's Poultry Processing in Cassville for the last five years.

Survivors include: his wife, Amanda Walker, of Exeter; one son, Patrick and two daughters, Ruth and Cordella Walker, all of the home; his father, Orren Walker and his wife, Bonnie, of Snyder, Okla.; his mother, Cathryn "Tiny" Newton, of Eagle Rock; one brother, Ben Walker, of Cassville; two sisters, Glenna Wood, of Ennis, Texas, and Elizabeth Walker, of Lawton, Okla.; his father-in-law, Dewayne Powell, of Exeter; and his mother-in-law Tina Powell, of Exeter.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Pastor Dallas LaCaze officiating.

Interment will be held at a later date in Snyder, Okla.
