Dora Alice Ray
Dora Alice Ray, 75, of Shell Knob, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born July 21, 1938, in Cato, the daughter of John William "Bill" and Belva Naomi (Ennis) Wilson. On July 7, 1956, in Ridgley, she was united in marriage to Loya Allen Ray, who preceded her in death on May 11, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers; and a half-sister.
Survivors include: three sons, Ricky Ray and his wife, Lanetta, of Aurora, Doyle Ray and his wife, Kathy, of Cassville, and Randy Ray and his wife, Traci, of Augusta, Kan.; one daughter, Debbie Hickman, of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister, Lavonne Phillips and her husband, Howard, of Monett; eleven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Dora received her education at Cato and Cassville. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Bridgeway Assembly of God Church, Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Lonnie Stockton conducted the services. Burial was at King Cemetery, Jenkins.
