Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Lisa Lambel, pictured above, and Coleman Hoppes, students at Cassville Middle School, are taking part in an Family Career Community Leaders of America Star event and collecting flip-flops for the residents of Mozambique, Africa. The girls learned of the country's poor after hearing a report on a mission trip in church. "That really bothered us," said Lambel. "Since the country is very poor, we plan to support some of their needs." Collection boxes are placed at United Methodist Church, Willis Insurance and Commerce Bank for donations of flip-flops in any size.
