Fall Festival on tap in Wheaton
The Wheaton Historical Society will hold its annual Fall Festival starting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the Wheaton City Park.
The event will feature homemade chili, homemade beef stew, hot dogs and a complete selection of hot and cold drinks.
There will be games and activities for children of all ages, including face painting, prizes, and more at no charge.
A costume contest will be held in four divisions: children 0 through 3 years of age; children 4 through 8 years of age; youth age 9 through 12; and 13 years and older.
Free treats will be given to children, as well as an auction of merchandise, donated by area merchants.
