Phillip J. McKinley
Phillip J. McKinley, 77, of Seligman, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013. He was born on Nov. 9, 1935, son of Lewis and Virginia (Magner) McKinley, in Youngstown, Ohio. After graduating from Youngstown High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving from 1954 to 1957. While stationed in Albuquerque, N.M., he married Cora Halbig on Aug. 5, 1958. He attended Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif., where he received his associate degree. He embraced and loved the faith that Jesus lived and taught in the New Testament.
|Survivors include: his wife, Cora McKinley, of Seligman; two sons, Lewis McKinley and his wife Vickey, of Portola, Calif., and Patrick McKinley and his wife, Kimberly, of Edmond, Okla.; two daughters, Susan Perez and her husband, Raul, of Tracy, Calif., and Stephanie DeLuca, and her husband, Vincenzo, of Seligman; 12; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Shidemantle, of Youngstown, Ohio; and one sister, Virginia Golec, of Youngstown, Ohio.||Funeral services were held Tuesday at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Minister Gaylen Vanloon and Minister Arlene Leszewski, officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory.|
