Purdy volleyball tops Thomas Jefferson

The Purdy Lady Eagles volleyball team improved to 5-6 on the season with a 25-17, 25-16 win over Thomas Jefferson on Sept. 17.

"Communicating and hitting the ball was key for us tonight," said Purdy coach Heather Romine.

Purdy was led by eight kills from Courtney White and Macy Breeding. Breeding also had four service aces. Morgan Schilly handed out 12 assists, and Viri Aldava collected four digs.

The Lady Eagles travel to McAuley on Sept. 26. Matches are set to begin at 5 p.m.
