Fundraising trail ride set

The 37th annual Ride for Life trail ride, which benefits the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20, 21 and 22 at Butterfield.

The campsite will be open at noon on Friday. Negative Coggins and out-of-state health papers are required for admittance. No dogs are allowed.

There will be a benefit auction held on Saturday evening. Friday night entertainment will be karaoke, and on tap for Saturday night is the Speed Shift Band.

Prizes will be awarded in three categories. For $50 collected, a free T-shirt or hat will be awarded. A free jacket will be given for those collecting $500, and the grand prize is a free saddle for $1,200 collected.
