Exeter Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch set to open next Saturday

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

The Exeter Corn Maze is set to open in less than two weeks and with an all new design it's sure to be one of Barry County's prime attractions this fall. This year's design presents America's Voice to Congress.

In addition to the corn maze geared to the general public, the Exeter Corn Maze will once again have a haunted corn maze and the haunted barn for the brave, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.

"It's good, wholesome, value-driven family entertainment," said Artie Cole, owner of the Exeter Corn Maze. "This year, we have lots of fun and new activities for adults and children of all ages, including the jumping pillow, cow train, corn pit, hayride, corn cannons, the popular crowd favorite, the pumpkin cannon and, of course, the new zip line."

The Exeter Corn maze also sells numerous varieties of pumpkins, including the only place in the area to get your pink pumpkins. Proceeds will go to area breast cancer foundations. There is a limited supply of pink pumpkins, so get them before they're gone.

The Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch will be open Friday nights, from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 1 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 21 and continuing through Nov. 2.

Cost of admission is $6 for the maze. Admission is free for military peronnel, veterans with identification and children under the age of 3.

"It's a great activity for a family on a tight budget," said Artie.
