The Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance for Missouri Initiative will host a seminar for downtown retailers at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at Towneley Furnishings, located at 805 Main St. in Cassville. The event is free and open to the public.
Sara Tetley, the keynote speaker who specializes in retail design concepts, will discuss strategies to improve stores, windows and displays to help area businesses attract more customers. "Earlier in the day we will visit a few retailers that have agreed to an assessment from Sara," said Mike Hemmer, of PGVA Planners and Cassville's DREAM project manager. "I look forward to seeing how we can help the existing downtown merchants capitalize on their clientele and attract more business. This can be a very valuable evaluationwith a pair of fresh eyes."
