Donald D. Row, 78, of Cassville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at his residence. He was born on June 3, 1935, son of Frank and Maureen (Green) Row, in Mason County, Ill. He worked his way up in the Caterpillar Company in Peoria, Ill., for 24 years before retiring as a buyer for the company. In 1978, he moved to Grandview, and later, moved to Barry County where he owned and operated R&W Machine Shop in Cassville. On Oct. 17, 1997, he was united in marriage to Maureen McCoy in Las Vegas, Nev., and she survives.

Additional survivors include: one daughter, Connie Thomsen, of Belton; one stepson, Howard Blevins, of Huntsville, Ala.; two step-daughters, Sherri Petrie, of Kansas City, Kan., and Meghan Barron, of Henderson, Nev.; one brother, Joseph Row, of Havana, Ill.; one sister, Nina Turner, of St. David, Ill.; two grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Donald "Donnie" A. Row; one stepson, Mark Barron; three brothers, Bob, Dick, and Bill Row; and three sisters, Carolyn Perardi, Rosalee Painter and Jean Brewer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at White Funeral Home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Chaplin Jack Betts officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
