Brattin Graphix joins Chamber

Anthony and Landon Brattin, owners of Brattin Graphix, have joined the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce. They specialize in window signs, car decals, door signs, pinstriping and vinyl lettering. The company also offers billboard design and installation in all shapes and sizes.

A ribbon cutting is planned at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce office, located at 504 Main St.

Solid Waste grants available

The Southwest Missouri Solid Waste Management District N is accepting grant applications for the 2014 program. Grant funds should target reducing, reusing or recycling solid waste or public education on solid waste management. Any business, school, public entity, civic or non-profit in Barry, Stone, Taney or Lawrence county may apply. Application deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 1. Arvest Bank offers asset management

Arvest Bank in Cassville has announced that Caleb Smith, Arvest management client advisor and investment specialist, will provide financial and investment planning every Wednesday at the Cassville branch of Arvest Bank.

Smith is a native of Rogers, Ark., and has been a member of Arvest Asset Management Team since 2009. Smith has a bachelors degree from the University of Central Arkansas.

Lowe's Auto Glass joins Seligman Chamber

Lowe's Auto Glass, located at 476 Highway 76 in Cassville, has joined the Seligman Chamber of Commerce.

The business, started by Pard and Lois Lowe, is managed by Scott Lowe. Chris Decker is employed at the business.

They specialize in windshield replacement, chip repair, home windows, mirrors, commercial glass and window tinting. They also replace heavy equipment glass and provide locksmith services. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday.

Freedom Bank to host Grand Opening

Freedom Bank will host a Grand Opening for its Shell Knob and Golden branches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. Free ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, baked beans, cole slaw and all the fixings will be served. Daily prizes will be awarded at both branches the week of Sept. 9 through Sept. 14. The grand prize, a 50-inch flat screen television, will be given away on Saturday, Sept. 14.
