The Pierce City Car Show, held Saturday, Aug. 31, saw 59 first, second and third place winners, along with three special award winners.
Kevin and Rhonda Hatfield, who have hosted the show for 22 years, announced they would be retiring after this year.
"We were young, attractive and energetic when we started," joked Kevin. "Now look at me."
Hatfield went on to say the annual show would not have been possible without the help of volunteers and sponsors, including Gary and Susie Gasser, Connie and Ernie Jarvis, Monroe Rosebrough, their children and family members who have devoted hours of volunteer time to help make the event a success.
Hatfield said the show would continue under the direction of the Sooter family starting in 2014.
