John Paul Archer
John Paul Archer, 54, of Shell Knob, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark. He was born on Aug. 2, 1959, son of Darrell Eugene and Iris Fern (Campbell) Archer, in Harrison, Ark. He was united in marriage to Michelle Davis on Sept. 17, 1994, in Wheaton. He worked in the heating and air-conditioning business most of his life, spending the last 10 years at Ozark Air Conditioning in Shell Knob.
Survivors include: his wife of 20 years, Michelle Archer, of Shell Knob; two sons, David Greathouse, of Shell Knob, and Brandon Davis, of Heavener, Okla.; four daughters, Jamie Archer-Mahurin, of Rocky Comfort, Angel Archer, of Grandbury, Texas, Ann Ring, of Kansas City, and Becky Greathouse, of Shell Knob; two sisters, Barbara Buchanan, of Joplin, and Jan Clark, of Gateway, Ark.; two brothers, Bill Archer, of Windfall, Ind., and Donnie Archer, of Fordland; his father and mother-in-law, David and Kathy Davis, of Heavener, Okla.; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jayson Edward "JayBird" Archer.
Services were held at Central Community United Methodist Church in Shell Knob on Saturday with Pastor Barry Fielder officiating. Burial followed at Painter Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville.
