Eunice Keys, 81, of Neosho, formerly of Rocky Comfort, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in Medicalodges in Neosho.
She was born March 11, 1932, in Heavener, Okla., the daughter of Col. and Lena (Cox) Woods. In 1950, she was united in marriage to Conville Keys, who preceded her in death in October 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Ricky Lee Keys; four brothers, Edward Woods, Willard Woods, Howard Woods and Billy Woods; sisters, Lorraine Long, and one sister in infancy; and one granddaughter. On Oct. 8, 2006, she married Jack Burns, who survives.
Additional survivors include: three daughters, Brenda DeGraffenreid and her husband, Terry, of Cassville, Connie Jean Farren and her husband, Steve, of Joplin, and Judy Porsche, of Houma, La.; two stepdaughters, Patty Gober, of California, and Donna Nute, of Texas; one sister, Mildred Kring, of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
She received her education at Rocky Comfort. Most of her life was spent in Stella, Wheaton and Rocky Comfort, where she farmed and was a homemaker. She was a member of Rocky Comfort Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. John Doolin and Richard Anderson will conduct the services. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery, Stella.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
