Geniva Rebecca Tate, 78, of Seligman, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.

She was born Jan. 22, 1935, in Rudd, Ark., the daughter of William Bert and Mattie Belle (Fultz) Ussery. On May 26, 1952, in Golden, she was united in marriage to Troy Del- bert Tate who preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2013. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include: three sons, Jimmy Tate, of Seligman, Danny Tate and his wife, Sherry, of Seligman, and Bobby Tate and his wife, Shaylene, of Exeter; two daughters, Barbara Lawson and her husband, Bill, of Washburn, and Peggy Handy and her husband, Bill, of Gentry, Ark.; one sister, Maggie Conner, of Fortuna, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She received her education at Bush School in Rudd, Ark.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Ron Shults conducted the services. Burial was at King Cemetery, Seligman.
