Special guest Jeremy Huse featured at chamber luncheon
Jeremy Huse, a Cassville photographer, will be the featured speaker at the Aug. 15 Cassville Chamber of Commerce quarterly luncheon, which will be held at the Barry County Museum on Aug. 15 at noon.
"I am looking forward to the opportunity to provide chamber members with some basic photography and technology tips that will, hopefully, be useful to their business," Huse said. "I hope this luncheon will offer practical information people can apply in their day-to-day lives, both at work and at home."
Huse will explain basic photography terms and how they relate to using the printer and computer monitor, how to resize photos for web use, along with recommendations and resources for printing options. He will also demonstrate taking small product shots to help businesses make the best of their marketing tactics.
"Basic photography skills are something most of our members are not familiar with and they can sometimes seem impossible to learn," said Mindy Artherton, director of the Cassville Chamber of Commerce.
"I am hopeful this luncheon will be very beneficial to our small businesses, especially those that put a lot of emphasis on marketing with Facebook photos."
Huse has over 10 years experience and specializes in family, senior and children's photography, and has a limited availability for weddings. Huse is available for indoor, outdoor and studio photography.
Those interested in attending are asked to notify Artherton at the Cassville Chamber of Commerce at 847-2814 email chamber@ cassville.com. Lunch is $8 per person and will be catered by Geraldi's.
