Two injured in area wrecks

A Branson man was inured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:15 p.m. on June 29 on Highway YY about one mile east of Shell Knob.

According to a Missouri State High- way Patrol report, the crash occurred when William H. Heuback, 41, of Shell Knob, the driver of a 1998 Ford Explorer towing a boat, was attempting to back into a private drive and backed into the path of a 2000 Kia Sophia, driven by Nathaniel L. Paulo, 31, of Cassville.

A passenger in the boat of the towed unit, Mark J. Wilcox, 26, was transported

to Mercy Hospital Cassville with moderate injuries.

Paulo was not wearing a seat belt, but Heuback was. Wilcox was exempt from wearing a safety device.

Other crashes

* An Exeter woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 9:25 p.m. on June 30 on Highway 76 about two miles west of Cassville. The crash occurred when the driver of a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, Tenaya R. Wilson, 23, of Exeter, ran off the roadway and struck a parked vehicle and overturned. Wilson was transported to Mercy Hospital Cassville with minor injuries.
