Wilma Ilene Ruhl
Wilma Ilene (Hill) Ruhl was born on Sept. 12, 1921, in rural Fairview and passed away on June 30, 2013, at the Freeman Neosho Hospi- tal. She was the daughter of Clovis L. Hill and Addie L. (Hollobaugh) Hill.
She attended Oshkosh rural school and graduated from Wheaton High School in May of 1940. She went on to teach for two years at her home country school. She married Clyde E. Ruhl on Oct. 6, 1944, at Benton- ville, Ark., and spent her entire life in the Wheaton area with the exception of two years on the West coast.
Survivors include: Dr. Max Ruhl and wife, Lynn, of Longview, and Mrs. Mar- sha Velten and husband, Dave, of Weyers Cave, Va.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one broth- er, Kendall Hill, of Sequim, Wash.; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Hill, of Fairview. Preceding her in death were: her mother, father and hus- band; a daughter, Myra Lou; two brothers, Norman and Don; and one sister, Marilyn (McCullah) Buck.
Wilma was a home- maker. She was a member of the Wheaton Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Wheaton Church of Christ under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Denny Kruse conducted the services. Burial was at Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort.
