Clarence "J.R." Lee Squires Jr., 48, of Cassville, Mo., passed away at his home on Monday, July 1, 2013. He was born August 18, 1964, in Lincoln, Neb., the son of Clarence "C.L." Lee Squires Sr., and Joyce (Lockwood) Birmingham. He was a 1983 graduate of Rock Port High School and a supervisor at Georges' Processing in Butterfield, Mo. He loved auctions, woodworking, spending time with family pets and being a grandpa.

J.R. is survived by both his parents, C.L., and his wife, Retha, of Lamar, Mo., and Joyce Birmingham, of Rock Port, Mo.; his signif- icant other, Sherry Web- ster; one daughter, Casey Hollingsworth, and husband Shelby, of Cassville, Mo.; three stepsons, Kyle Bow- man, of Jacket, Mo, Joey Griffith, and his wife Aun- drea, of Ozark, Ark., and John Griffith, of Coal Hill, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Tif- fany Bowman, of Jacket, Mo.; two brothers, Thomas Squires, and his wife, Lisa, of Fair Grove, Mo., and Da- vid Squires, and his wife, Carla, of Gardner, Kan.; three sisters, Penney Heath- cock, of Tulsa, Okla., Deb- rah Erickson, and her hus- band, of Donald, Maryville, Mo., and Carolyn Davis, of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services for J.R. are being held Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funer- al Chapel in Monett, Mo.
