Georgia Bell Rose, 92, of Washburn, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, in her home.
She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Skiatook, Okla., the daughter of Vernon and Mary (Buckles) Green. On Jan. 15, 1936, in Neosho, she was united in marriage to Raymond Nello Rose, who preceded her in death on June 18, 1990. Also pre- ceding her in death were: one son, Donald Ray Rose; twin sisters, Juanita Trent and Jenetta Driscoll; and one brother, Pierce Green.
Survivorsinclude:five daughters, Lois Black and her husband, Fred, of Wash- burn, Gladys Wilbanks, of Washburn, Betty Oxford and her husband, Charlie, of Rogers, Ark., Treva Antle and her husband, Donnie, of Washburn, and Brenda Ant- le and her husband, Ronnie, of Exeter; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grand- children and great-great grandchildren.
She received her educa- tion in Arkansas but most of her life was spent at Wash- burn. She was a member of Prairie Hill Baptist Church at Washburn.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cass- ville. Pastor Jerry Williams conducted the services.
Burial was at King Ceme- tery, Seligman.
