Sarah Elizabeth Bacon and Travis Edward Ulmer were united in marriage on Thursday, June 6 on the Princess Beach in Destin, Fla. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Tony Bolton. The bride was walked down the white sand to the flowered arbor on the beach by her father. The bride is the daughter of Joe and Beverly Bacon, of Cassville. The groom is the son of Eddie and Cheryl Ulmer, of Purdy. Marcie Ulmer Platz, sister of the groom, served as matron of honor. Eric Ulmer, brother of the groom, served as best man. Mya Platz, the groom's niece was the flower girl, and her brother, Garrett, was the sign bearer. The bride is a graduate of Drury University and is currently working on her master's degree in school administration at Lindenwood University. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at Exeter. The groom is a graduate of OTC and is employed as a diesel technician at Diamond International in Joplin. Following a honeymoon in Key West, Fla., the couple will be living in Cassville. A reception will be held in Cassville for the newlyweds at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 at the First Christian Church Faith Center in Cassville. All friends and family are invited.
