Three injured in recent wrecks

Three people were injured in recent area wrecks.

A Purdy woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, June 14 on Farm Road 1090 about three miles south of Monett.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 2006 Ford Escape, Georgia T. Denney, 75, of Purdy, ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole and a fence.

Denney was taken to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

Other crashes

* Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 on Farm Road 2010 about five miles south of Aurora. The crash occurred when the driver of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, Timothy A. Lasiter, 27, of Aurora, ran off the left side of the highway and overturned. Lasiter and a passenger in the vehicle, Clinton R. Harder, 21, of Shelbina, were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Aurora with minor injuries. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
