Veronica May "Ronnie" Tiggemann, 87, of Shell Knob, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Overland, the daughter of Stanley and Martha (Licznerski) Lubiewski. On April 10, 1948, in Columbia Bottoms, she was united in marriage to Burtis William Tiggemann, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include: one son, Bruce William Tiggemann and his wife, Karen, of Shell Knob; one daughter, Diana Lyn Snyder and her husband, Joseph, of Liberty; one sister, Josephine Lubiewski, of Wentzville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She received her education at St. Leo's Catholic School in St. Louis. For several years, she was employed with Bussman Fuse Company in St. Louis as an inspector. In 1984, she moved from St. Louis to Shell Knob to make her home. She was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church in Shell Knob was active in Lutheran Women's Missionary League and Altar Guild.
|Funeral services were held Sunday in Peace Lutheran Church, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Brian Chisamore conducted the services. Burial was at Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob.||Contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church in her memory.|
