Sharon Ann Jones, 69, of Exeter, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, in her home.

She was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Rocky Ford, Colo., the daughter of Archie and Daisy (Wooley) Duncan. On Aug. 11, 1961, in La Junta, Colo., she was united in marriage to Eugene "Lee" Jones, who survives. Additional survivors include: two sons, Kevin Jones, of Exeter, and Mike Jones and his wife, Annetta, of Diamond; one sister, Norma Crusinberry, of Halston, Kan.; three step-sisters, Sue Henson and her husband, Dewey, of Springdale, Ark., Margaret Ivey, of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Sharon, of Atchison, Kan.; three step-brothers, Jim Young and his wife, Gayle, of Washburn, Bill Young and his wife, Sue, and Bill Braddock and his wife, Lynn; and five grandchildren.

She received her education in Waynoka, Okla., and La Junta, Colo. In 1967, she moved from Colorado to Exeter to make her home. For several years, she was a waitress at Mary's Cafe~ in Stella and Rocky Comfort. She attended Ridgley Assembly of God Church.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
