SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

CASH MOB: The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Cash Mob event at 3:45 p.m. Community members are encouraged to meet at the chamber for the event.

DANCE: The Seligman Lions Club will hold a dance at the Seligman Community Building at 7 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by Frosty Garland and the Road Hogs. Admission is $4. For more information, call 846-5355.


Friday, May 3

FRIDAY COFFEE: The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly First Friday Coffee networking event at State Farm Insurance, located at 901 N. Main St., from 8 to 8:45 a.m. All chamber members are encouraged to attend.

MOVIE: The Disney movie "Wings of Life" will be shown at the Cassville Branch Library at 4 p.m. The film is sponsored by the Cassville Friends of the Library.


Saturday, May 4

DANCE: The Cassville Senior Center will hold its monthly dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $4. Proceeds will benefit the senior center. For more information, call 846-5355 or 846-3024.

MEETING: The Eagle Rock Lego Club will meet at the Eagle Rock Community Center from 10 to 11 a.m. All area youngsters are invited to attend.

FESTIVAL: The Dogwood Car, Truck and Motorcycle Festival will be held on the square in Cassville from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will offer a custom and antique car show, musical entertainment, food concessions and shopping.

SUPPORT GROUP: Celebrate Recovery will meet at the Golden Baptist Church, on Highway J in Golden, at 7 p.m. A dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. The support group is for anyone with hurts, habits or hangups.

MEETING: The Southwest Missouri Tea Party will meet at the VFW on Highway 39 in Shell Knob at 1 p.m. The meeting will include a presentation and review or discussion of current events at the state and federal levels. All community members are invited to attend.

BLOOD DRIVE: The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at Purdy High School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PROGRAM: The Eagle Rock Branch Library will offer a special kite story time at 10:30 a.m. All kids are welcome to attend the event, which will offer a story, a craft and other activities.
