Michael John Fehrenbacher, 46, of Eagle Rock, passed away following a lengthy illness, on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at his mother's home. He was born on Aug. 17, 1966, in Larned, Kan., son of Melvin C. "John" Fehrenbacher and Carolyn K. "Skulavik" Kellar.

He attended both Purdy High School and Monett High School. At the age of 17, he moved to California and began a career in construction. He owned and operated Triple A Desert Repair in Palm Springs, Calif., for several years. He married Sherry Ann Cox, of Augusta, Kan., and to that union three children were born. Survivors include: one son, Brandon Ray Fehrenbacher, of Augusta, Kan.; two daughters, Stephany Leann Fehrenbacher, of Augusta, Kan., and Sabrina Breann Fehrenbacher, of Wichita, Kan.; his mother, Carolyn Kaye Kellar and his step-father, Leroy Kellar, of Eagle Rock; one sister, Michelle Garrison, of Topeka, Kan.; and one brother, John Christian Fehrenbacher, of Topeka, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Betty Fehrenbacher; his maternal grandparents, Leon and Norma Maier; and his maternal grandfather, John F. Skulavik.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville. A private celebration of life will be held in Kansas at a later date.
