Mary B. Moody, 80, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, in Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

She was born April 6, 1933, in Machias, Maine, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Merritt) Tabbutt. On March 11, 1953, she was united in marriage to W.H. Moody, who preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 2001. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Bryan; one sister; and one brother.

Survivors include: three sons, Rodney Moody and his wife, Sharon, of Milbridge, Maine, Wade Moody and his wife, Tina, of Eufaula, Okla., and Brandon Moody, of Milbridge, Maine; two daughters, Marqueta Markland, of Cassville, and Melanie Phillips and her husband, Monty, of Eufaula, Okla.; one sister, Kay Beale, of Milbridge, Maine; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She grew up in Maine, where she graduated from high school. After high school, she joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Texas, where she met her husband. Later, they returned to his home state of Oklahoma, where they attended college and started their family. For several years, she resided in McAlester, Okla. In 2003, she moved to Cassville to make her home.

Graveside services were held Tuesday in Palestine Cemetery in Quinton, Okla., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
